Hikes in Längenfeld in Tyrol

Hikers are not only welcome at the Wurzbergalm, they also get their money's worth. Because right next to our Alm there is an extensive network of hiking trails. The magnificent mountain scenery of the famous Tyrolean Ötztal is right on your doorstep when you visit us.

Come up to us!

You can reach the Wurzbergalm in Längenfeld, Tyrol, via the Unterried/Winkeln parking lot. The idyllic path is four kilometers long and well signposted. For those who like it more sporty, take the shortcut via the Ziegenpetersteig about 15 minutes after the parking lot. From Köfels you can reach us in just under an hour or 2.5 kilometers. By the way, families and children love the beautiful circular hiking trail, which passes our alpine pasture from Köfels and is about five kilometers long.

Which is also close to the Wurzbergalm:

  • The Winkelbergsee is about one hour away.

  • The Wiesekogel is our local mountain, but the way up is not marked.

  • It takes about four hours to climb the 2,800-meter-high Felderkogel.

  • Only in summer you can reach the Hauersee, which is 2,300 meters high (about four hours down to Lehn, where there is a waterfall).

Your hikes in winter - and more!

Do you love tobogganing, but less the pulling of the toboggan? Then simply borrow one from us at the Alm for only five euros. Leave it at the parking lot in Unterried/Winkeln - done!

You can also go on snowshoe hikes with us or go on a ski tour up the Felderkogel. Every Tuesday we are open longer, so that night tobogganists and tourers get their money's worth. But don't forget your headlamp, because the cable car in Längenfeld in Tyrol is not lit.

The TVB Ötztal has collected and beautifully described a variety of hiking routes in our area and throughout the Ötztal. Get inspiration for your vacation with us in Tyrol.
